Job summary

INTELEX in the United States offers a fully remote Medical Interpreter role. You will provide accurate real-time interpretation between patients and healthcare providers, using medical terminology and ensuring culturally appropriate communication.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 months of interpretation experience, a background in medical or legal fields, and availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments. Remote work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection is supported.

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Interpreter fluent in Language and English for a 100% remote position. The role involves providing accurate and timely interpretation, enabling effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. Additional responsibilities include performing simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, ensuring proper use of medical terminology, and facilitating clear and culturally appropriate communication in medical settings.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum 3 months of professional interpretation experience
• Specialization: Proven expertise in Medical or Legal sectors
• Flexibility: Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments.

Technical Requirements and certificates:

• Professional, HIPAA compliant Setup
• Wired USB headset with noise cancellation
• At least 10Mbps upload speed and 20 Mbps download speed
