Job summary

Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group seeks a full-time physician with fellowship training in Integrative Medicine to lead integrative oncology services at the Cancer Center. The role emphasizes developing patient-centered, evidence-informed plans that complement standard cancer therapies.

Collaboration with medical oncology, radiation, and other specialties is essential, with a focus on safety, communication, and coordinated care across the cancer care continuum.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with eligibility for medical licensure in California.
• Completion of fellowship training in Integrative Medicine.
• Demonstrated experience in integrative and functional medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrative medicine consultations for cancer patients across the care continuum.
• Collaborate with medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and other clinical partners.
• Develop individualized, evidence-informed care plans that complement standard oncology treatments.
• Counsel patients on supplements and complementary therapies with safety in mind.
• Support care across diagnosis, active treatment, survivorship, and palliative phases.
