Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field (e.g., health education, public health, nutrition, exercise science, psychology, nursing).
• Nationally recognized coaching, medical, fitness, or allied health certification (e.g., NBHWC, RN, RD, PT, LMSW).
• Minimum of 3 years of client-facing coaching or applied health experience in a clinical, wellness, or academic medical setting.
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing and patient-centered counseling.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and comfort with telehealth and digital health platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coaching patients to translate physician recommendations into actionable daily strategies.
• Conduct health and wellness assessments to inform coaching plans.
• Set and refine personalized goals across movement, nutrition, sleep, stress management, and recovery.
• Lead individual and group coaching sessions focused on adherence and self-efficacy.
• Co-develop curricula for group visits focused on lifestyle behavior change and patient education.
• Identify barriers to progress and develop tailored solutions for long-term success.
• Provide education and resources on integrative and lifestyle medicine and care plans.
• Coordinate with clinical and nutrition staff to create diverse educational materials.
