Job summary

CooperRiis Healing Community in Asheville, NC seeks an Integrative Clinical Therapist to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to residents within a recovery-focused team. You will collaborate with the Clinical Director, Psychiatrist, and Nursing/Wellness staff to ensure holistic care.

The role emphasizes individualized recovery plans, family involvement, and group therapy in a supportive, drug- and smoke-free residential setting.

Qualifications

• Current NC license as LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT; associate licenses considered with experience.
• Psy.D or Ph.D. in clinical psychology or counseling.
• At least 1 year of experience in psychotherapy or related clinical services.
• Experience in residential or inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Uses relationship-oriented, strength-based approaches with evidence-based modalities.
• Leads residents through individualized, goal-focused recovery plans.
• Provides individual psychotherapy and includes family members or support persons.
• Creates and facilitates group psychotherapy curriculums and documents.
• Performs assessments as indicated and collaborates with psychiatry, nursing, and residential staff.
• Provides crisis support and participates in on-call rotation.
• Completes timely documentation and records.
• Offers staff training and guidance.

The Integrative Clinical Therapist provides high-quality, evidence-based clinical services to residents and is a core member of the resident’s recovery team. The Therapist works closely with the other therapists, Clinical Director, Psychiatrist, and Nursing/Wellness teams to ensure whole-person integrative care.

Schedule

Monday – Friday 8 – 5 pm

Pay

• Starting at $60,610 per year Associate licensed and increases based on experience
• Starting at $64,200 per year fully licensed and increases based on experience
• On-Call rotation is paid in addition to the salary

Responsibilities

• Works from a relationship-oriented and strength-based approach utilizing evidence-based modalities

• Completes appropriate assessments as indicated
• Strong collaboration with direct care staff to include psychiatry, nursing, and residential staff
• Provide crisis support and share on-call coverage rotation
• Complete timely documentation
• Offer training and informal guidance to staff members

Qualifications

• Current NC license as LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, & associate licenses only considered with experience
• Psy.D or Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology or counseling
• At least of 1 year of experience in psychotherapy or other clinical services
• Experience working in residential or inpatient settings
