CHRISTUS Health in Beaumont, TX is seeking an experienced athletic trainer to deliver comprehensive care across school and athletic programs. You will assess injuries, coordinate care with physicians, develop injury prevention programs, and support education initiatives for coaches and athletes.

Responsibilities include on-site coverage, documentation, program development, and collaboration with school partners to promote quality care and cost-effective services.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field required.
• Three (3) years an athletic trainer experience preferred (including student internship).
• State license or NATABOC required within four (4) months.

Mansioni

• Performs clinic skills accurately and professionally in clinic and with assigned athletic programs.
• Coordinates care with other healthcare providers as needed; maintains weekly timesheets and injury logs.
• Implements surveys for sports clients to better meet needs and follows up on concerns.
• Communicates clearly with coworkers, case management, parents, coaches, and physicians on athlete injuries and event coverage.
• Conducts a thorough initial clinical evaluation of injuries and illnesses common to competitive athletes.
• Delivers treatment to athletes and expands relationships with schools and community partners.
