Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Sr. Integrations Engineer in Ontario, CA to architect, build, test and support healthcare IT integrations (HL7v2, HL7v3, CDA, X12, FHIR) with EMRs and other systems.

The role includes mentoring teammates, supporting Epic go-lives, and working with Epic, Meditech, Cerner, NextGen stacks to ensure seamless data exchange.

A Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT and 3 years of production integration experience plus Epic Bridges certification are required.

• 3 years' experience building, running, and deploying integrations in a production environment.
• Epic Bridges Certification with 2 years of experience on Epic.
• 3 years of experience with Interfaceware - Iguana & Chameleon.
• Experience supporting multiple Epic go-lives for hospitals of varying size.
• Experience with Python and Lua scripting.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Under minimal supervision or direction, the Sr. Integrations Engineer, will be responsible to architect, design, build, testing, training and support of all aspects of integrations (HL7v2, HL7v3, CDA, X12, FHIR, and other standard) with EMR’s and other Healthcare IT systems. This position requires little or no supervision as they build, maintain the interfaces and exercise independent judgement and discretion in carrying out day-to-day related activities. This position performs complex design and analysis tasks related to business operations. The Analyst will also act as a mentor to other members of the team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

• o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• o 3 years' experience building, running, and deploying integrations in a production environment.
• o Epic Bridges Certification with 2 years of experience on Epic.
• o 3 years of experience with Interfaceware - Iguana & Chameleon.
• o Experience supporting multiple Epic go-lives for small, medium and large hospitals.
• o Experience with Python and Lua scripting.
• o Strong experience with Epic, Meditech, Cerner, eClinical Works, NextGen.
• o Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.

Preferred qualifications:

• o Certification in Project Management (PMP).
• o Strong experience with Data Conversions.
• o Experience writing Web Services, RESTFUL, or SOAP

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $73,548.80 to $145,600.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
