Job summary

AstroForge in Seal Beach is seeking an intern to support the integration and test team as they develop flight-ready products. The role emphasizes hands-on hardware work and software skills in a fast-paced space hardware environment.

You will work under supervision, applying aerospace/ME/EE/CS knowledge, Python scripting, and lab soldering to contribute to spacecraft systems. The internship runs 10 weeks at $30/hour, onsite in Seal Beach.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising senior in undergrad or enrolled in graduate studies.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Must not be employed for the duration of the internship.
• 18 years or older.
• Must be eligible to work in an ITAR compliant environment.

Job Description

Work under the supervision of our integration and test team to assist with the development of flight-ready products.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a

  rising senior

  in undergrad or enrolled in graduate studies (at the time of the internship).

• Enrollment in an accredited college or university, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Must not be otherwise employed for the duration of the internship

• 18 years or older.

• Must be eligible to work in an ITAR compliant environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Aerospace / ME / EE / Computer Science major.

• Software knowledge such as Python, scripting, automation etc.

• Hands on lab work such as soldering, hardware debugs, and operating electronic equipment.

• Understanding of spacecraft design and system interfaces.

• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Aerospace project, course or internship experience

• Currently pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering or a related field.

• Willingness to learn software skills and programming.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills.

Location: Onsite in Seal Beach

Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour

Duration: 10 weeks
