Job summary

Cornerstone Defense is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to join our Aurora, CO team. You will work with a cross-disciplinary group of engineers on ground systems, performing integration, testing, and automated test script development in an Agile Release Train environment.

Qualified candidates have a STEM degree, 2+ years in systems integration and test, experience with Linux, Python or Perl, and hold an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with systems integration and test in an Agile environment, including regression testing and test scripting.
• Hands-on integration and test engineering experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging software-based systems.
• Experience with Linux, Red Hat, Python or Perl.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Job Responsibilities

• In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.
• Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team
• Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
• Development of automated test scripts and their execution
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues
• Work in an Agile program environment

Basic Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with systems integration and test for a software product in an Agile environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
• Experience with hands-on Integration and Test engineering
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product
• Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, or Perl
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within a CI/CD environment
• Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
• Development experience in project domain (e.g., mission management ground systems, space-based ISR platforms)
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience in Test Automation (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher)
• Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux operating system, Cloud environments
