The Integration/Test Engineer (COTS Lab) role supports the successful delivery of units by working closely with system engineering, hardware engineering, program management, project engineering, material program managers, and vendor partners. The position centers on assembling and preparing units for release, which includes interpreting engineering documentation, following detailed work instructions, and ensuring all required materials are available. It also involves managing documentation accuracy, supporting First Article activities, and maintaining compliance within the COTS lab. The role contributes to the repair and evaluation of returned units, coordinates movement of hardware through functional testing, and resolves technical issues involving processors, switches, and routers. Working in a fast-paced environment, the position requires balancing schedule demands, material constraints, budget awareness, and documentation requirements while supporting high‑priority efforts such as Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) projects.
