The Integration Test Engineer is responsible for the on-site execution of upper-level system functional testing.The Integration Test Engineer shall report to the assigned Integration Manager for all on-site execution planning.For any line management or organizational matters, the engineer shall report directly to the Senior Manager, Systems Integration.
Testing execution may require subsystem-level testing as well as testing with the relative Warehouse Management System software.

- Initial configuration of key system services on-site as needed for respective projects.
- Testing of individual subsystems on-site to confirm readiness for integration.
- On-site execution of integrated-system functional test cases as delivered from the project design team.
- On-site troubleshooting / root-cause-analysis of key integrated system issues.
- Active participation and support in Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and GO Live efforts. This may require intense troubleshooting in a live production environment.
- Perform customer operator and admin training before go-live.
- GSD project training before Help Desk takeover.
- Other duties will be assigned as needed.
- BS degree in Information Systems or Engineering /or practical experience in the field of electrical/controls/software engineering
- Experience with the implementation of automated material handling and logistics systems.
- Solid understanding of information systems and engineering theory and the project life cycle for material handling systems.
- Sound application knowledge of automated material handling equipment such as AS/RS, pallet and case conveyors, sorters, AGV’s, monorails
- Experience with testing Java and C# applications.
- Experience with Test and Integration platforms such as SonarQube; Jenkins
- Experience with JUnit
- Module testing
- Web application testing
- Web Interface testing
- Automated test tools and testing frameworks such as Selenium
- Experience with source / revision control systems such as Subversion (SVN), CVS
- Must be able to travel 25-75% (based on phase and # of assignments)
- Knowledge of industrial warehouse systems (conveyors, monorail, etc.) would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience being a front-facing representation for the customer as well as representation for internal meetings as needed.
