Job summary

ClinDCast, LLC is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer specializing in healthcare interoperability and integration platforms. The role emphasizes HealthConnect, HL7 standards, and modern healthcare APIs to enable seamless data exchange across EHRs and ancillary systems.

You will work with HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, RESTful APIs, and identity ingestion workflows, supporting secure, scalable integrations for providers and payers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HealthConnect and HL7-based ingestion workflows
• Experience with HL7 v2/v3 and ADT workflows (A40 merge/unmerge)
• Experience with FHIR standards and RESTful healthcare APIs
• Proficiency in healthcare integration using TCP/IP, Pub/Sub, and API-based architectures
• Experience integrating with EHR systems like Cerner, Epic, Meditech, or Allscripts
• Understanding of identity management and API-based identity ingestion in healthcare systems

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage integrations acrossHealthConnect, EHRs, and other healthcare systems
• Design and optimize HL7 v2/v3 and FHIR-based data exchange
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and API-based integration workflows
• Collaborate with providers, payers, and IT teams to ensure secure data exchange
• Evaluate new integration engines and middleware for scalability and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve data exchange issues across environments

• Strong knowledge of HL7 (v2.x, v3) and HL7-based identity ingestion workflows, including ADT (A40 merge/unmerge)
• Experience with FHIR standards and RESTful healthcare APIs
