Job description

Responsibilities

• Configure and test building control systems to meet contract specifications.
• Develop and test essential software programs.
• Load and commission controllers across system and network levels.
• Validate system functionality and troubleshoot issues for peak performance.
• Collaborate closely with project management and engineering teams.
• Create as-built drawings and related software.
• Deliver tailored training to owners or operators on the complete building control system.

Work Experience & Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Building Automation Control Systems, especially Schneider Electric, SmartStruxure, Space Logic, I/A, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4.
• Two years of experience with mechanical and/or electrical engineering systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building systems.
• Experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (e.g. LON, BacNet, etc.).
• Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers regarding inspection and service findings.
