Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Boomi/Integration Specialist to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end integrations between cloud and on-premise systems. You will translate business requirements into technical specs, build Boomi processes, and enable API-based data exchange across ERP and CRM tools.

The role requires Boomi AtomSphere expertise, Azure Databricks experience, and strong data‑integration knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven Boomi AtomSphere experience with process building, mapping and deployment.
• Open to MuleSoft or Informatica experience as well.
• Experience with Azure Databricks is needed.
• Understand ELT/data-pipeline concepts and how integrations feed a cloud platform.
• Familiarity with source-to-target data mapping across enterprise apps.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
• Experience with API development and web services (REST, SOAP).
• Proficiency with XML, JSON, CSV formats.
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy integrations using Boomi AtomSphere connecting cloud and on‑prem apps.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and build integration solutions.
• Build and maintain Boomi processes, maps, and connectors for data exchange.
• Implement APIs and web services to support integration initiatives.
• Perform unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure reliability.
• Support data ingestion pipelines between source systems and enterprise data platform (Databricks / ADLS).
• Coordinate with ERP/CRM owners (JD Edwards, IFS, Salesforce) for mappings and governance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across Boomi and data pipelines.
• Monitor health and performance of Boomi integrations and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy integrations using Boomi AtomSphere platform, connecting cloud-based and on-premises applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop integration solutions accordingly.
• Build and maintain Boomi processes, maps, and connectors to facilitate data exchange between systems.
• Implement APIs and web services to support integration initiatives.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and performance testing to ensure quality and reliability of integrations.
• Support and develop data ingestion pipelines that move data between source systems and our clients enterprise data platform (Databricks / Azure Data Lake Storage).
• Coordinate with ERP and CRM system owners (JD Edwards, IFS, Salesforce) to define source/target mappings and ensure reliable, well-governed data exchange.
• Assist with day-to-day integration monitoring, error handling, and incident response across the Boomi and data-pipeline landscape.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Boomi integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., business analysts, application developers) to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Boomi features and best practices.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of integration standards and processes.
• Make recommendations on how to best use integration resources and build in reliability.
