Résumé du poste

Saronic Technologies is seeking an IT Integration Manager to drive post-acquisition IT integration across networks, identity, security tooling, and end-user environments. You will embed with local teams at newly acquired sites, aligning with HQ and ensuring a smooth transition of IT services.

This hands-on leadership role requires expertise in networking, identity, endpoint management, and security, with extensive travel (50–75%).

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 2+ years leading or heavily contributing to M&A IT integrations, carve-outs, or multi-site consolidations.
  • Genuine working depth across networking (routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPN), identity (Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, SSO, tenant migration), endpoint management (Intune, Jamf, imaging, patching), virtualization and cloud infrastructure, and core security tooling (EDR, MFA, SIEM).
  • Experience with email and collaboration migrations (ie. M365/Google Workspace tenant-to-tenant).
  • Ability to walk into an undocumented environment, figure out how it actually works, and build a credible plan quickly.
  • Strong written documentation skills; you leave behind diagrams and runbooks, not tribal knowledge.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity, competing priorities, and aggressive timelines.
  • Willingness to travel 50–75%, including extended on-site stints and occasional short-notice trips.
  • U.S. person status required for export control compliance; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsabilités

  • Discovery and planning: Lead on-site technical discovery at each acquisition, inventory network topology, server footprint, cloud tenants, identity providers, endpoint tooling, security stack, licensing, and contracts; produce a current-state assessment and integration plan.
  • Execution: Redesign networks, migrate identities, enroll endpoints into MDM, migrate email and collaboration, migrate or retire servers/workloads, align backup/DR, and standardize AV and conferencing.
  • Security and compliance: Bring acquired environments to security baseline — EDR, MFA, patching, SIEM logging, privileged access controls, and gap remediation for compliance.
  • Support transition: Transition site from local support to the company help desk model, onboard staff into the new structure.
  • Vendor and contract rationalization: Catalog contracts and MSP relationships, recommend consolidation or termination, track savings.
  • Partnership with HQ: Work with HQ teams, maintain a reusable integration playbook and runbooks, report progress and risks.
  • Change management: Be the IT face to employees during the acquisition, communicate clearly and minimize disruption.

Description du poste

Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms.

Job Overview

When Saronic acquires a company, the IT Integration Manager will drive the shared identity through shared networks, shared security posture, shared procedures and support. This role owns that work end to end. You will travel to each newly acquired site, embed with the local team, assess what’s there, and drive the technical integration of infrastructure, networks, endpoints, identity, and security tooling into our standard environment.

This is a hands-on manager role, not a pure program-management role. You’ll be the senior IT presence on the ground, coordinating closely with the infrastructure, security, and help desk teams at HQ to ensure alignment across all IT functions. Business systems integration (ERP, CRM, HRIS, finance) is owned by a separate team, you’ll coordinate with them on dependencies like identity, SSO, and network access, but the systems themselves are out of your scope.

Responsibilities
  • Discovery and planning. Lead on-site technical discovery at each acquisition: inventory network topology and circuits, server and storage footprint, cloud tenants, identity providers, endpoint fleet and management tooling, security stack, licensing, vendor and MSP contracts, physical security and AV, and support processes. Produce a documented current-state assessment, risk register, and sequenced integration plan with effort estimates and cost impact.

  • Execution. Drive the technical work to standard: network redesign and cutover (LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, circuit procurement and decommissioning), identity migration and tenant consolidation, endpoint re-imaging or enrollment into our MDM and management tooling, email and collaboration migration, server and workload migration or retirement, backup and DR alignment, and conference room and AV standardization.

  • Security and compliance. Bring acquired environments up to our security baseline- EDR deployment, MFA, patching and vulnerability management, logging into our SIEM, privileged access controls, and removal of legacy admin paths. Identify and remediate gaps against our compliance obligations (NIST 800‑171 / CMMC, ITAR/export control handling, SOC 2 as applicable) and flag anything that needs legal or security escalation.

  • Support transition. Transition the acquired site from local provided support onto our help desk model: ticketing, asset management, onboarding/offboarding workflows, knowledge base content, and on‑site support coverage. Where acquired IT staff join the company, help assess, onboard, and ramp them into our team structure.

  • Vendor and contract rationalization. Catalog inherited contracts, licenses, and MSP relationships; recommend what to consolidate, renegotiate, or terminate; and track realized savings.

  • Partnership with HQ. Work closely with HQ infrastructure, security, and business systems teams so field decisions match the long‑term architecture and support execution sprints. Maintain a reusable integration playbook, runbooks, and checklists that get sharper with every deal, and report progress, risks, and blockers to IT and corporate development leadership.

  • Change management. Be the face of IT to employees at a company that has just been acquired. Communicate clearly, set expectations, run cutover comms, and minimize disruption during a period that is already unsettling for people.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 2+ years leading or heavily contributing to M&A IT integrations, carve‑outs, or multi‑site consolidations (or similar related experience)

  • Genuine working depth, not just oversight, across networking (routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPN), identity (Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, SSO, domain and tenant migration), endpoint management (Intune, Jamf, imaging, patching), virtualization and cloud infrastructure, and core security tooling (EDR, MFA, SIEM)

  • Experience with email and collaboration migrations (ie. M365/Google Workspace tenant‑to‑tenant)

  • Ability to walk into an undocumented environment, figure out how it actually works, and build a credible plan quickly

  • Strong written documentation skills; you leave behind diagrams and runbooks, not tribal knowledge

  • Comfort operating with ambiguity, competing priorities, and aggressive timelines

  • Willingness to travel 50–75%, including extended on-site stints and occasional short‑notice trips

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll be asking people to give up systems they built and trust

  • U.S. person status required for export control compliance; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Nice to have
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or other regulated/industrial environments

  • Familiarity with OT, lab, or shop‑floor networks and the constraints of production environments

  • Experience standing up IT at new physical sites (shipyards, factories, labs, offices)

  • Prior work in a company integrating multiple acquisitions per year

  • Relevant certifications (CCNP, Azure/AWS, CISSP, PMP)

Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Occasional standing and walking within the office

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment

  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports

  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies

  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)

Benefits
  • Medical Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance plans covering a range of services

  • Saronic pays 100% of the premium for employees and 80% for dependents

  • Dental and Vision Insurance: Coverage for routine dental check-ups, orthodontics, and vision care

  • Saronic pays 100% of the premium under the basic plan for employees and 80% for dependents

  • Time Off: Generous PTO and Holidays

  • Parental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave to support new parents

  • Competitive Salary: Industry-standard salaries with opportunities for performance-based bonuses

  • Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan with company match

  • Stock Options: Equity options to give employees a stake in the company’s success

  • Life and Disability Insurance: Basic life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage

  • Pet Insurance: Discounted pet insurance options including 24/7 Telehealth helpline

  • Additional Perks: Free lunch benefit and unlimited free drinks and snacks in the office
