Akumin is seeking an Integration Engineer to lead the design, governance, and maintenance of enterprise‑level interoperability systems. You will support imaging workflows, patient identity management, and cross‑system data exchange across RIS, PACS, and EHR integrations.
The ideal candidate combines HealthShare/IRIS expertise with radiology information systems familiarity and strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and DICOM standards to drive scalable, compliant interfaces in a multisite environment.

The Integration Engineer leads the design, governance, and maintenance of enterprise‑level interoperability systems supporting imaging workflows, patient identity management, and cross‑system data exchange. This role blends architectural vision with hands‑on administration of interface platforms and health data standards that drive our connected radiology ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in HealthShare/IRIS (or similar integration engines) with strong familiarity in radiology information systems (e.g. Royal, eRAD) and data interoperability across DICOM and HL7/FHIR protocols.
