Job summary

Integrated Production Solutions (IPS) is seeking a Design Engineer in the United States to assist sales and operations by designing, drawing, and commissioning integration projects. Qualifications

• Ability to manage relationships with executive level clients.
• Ability to design high level AVL systems and convert those designs to drawing sets.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to learn and adapt.
• Competent in VectorWorks, Revit, or AutoCAD, CRM applications, email, etc.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Account Managers and Operations teams to create system designs and drawings.
• Consult and offer solutions to Account Managers as needed.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, crew onsite or in meetings, as necessary.
• Communicate with clients as necessary to support and clarify changes in scope of work.
• Schedule commissioning of systems with installation team, clients and coordinate with other trades if needed.
• Assist in the development of proposals for new installations, additions, expansions, modifications, updates, upgrades and other miscellaneous project work.
• Provide assistance when it is an ‘all hands-on deck’ install or when coordinating special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
