Job description

The Integration Architect is responsible for defining and driving the enterprise‑wide integration vision, designing highly scalable, resilient, and interoperable application ecosystems across major business domains such as Supply Chain and Finance. This role establishes and governs standardized integration architectures, reusable patterns, and API strategies that shift the organization from custom, point‑to‑point solutions to secure, self‑service and repeatable integration platforms. Serving as the senior technical authority, the Director provides architectural oversight, resolves the most complex integration challenges, and advances modern capabilities such as agent‑ready API and data‑sharing layers to enable secure AI and autonomous system interactions. This role leads the evolution of our API Management strategy, championing self‑service integration development and pioneering Agentic access to our core systems. It also mentors and guides integration teams, ensures alignment to architectural standards, and continuously evaluates emerging Azure and middleware technologies to drive innovation and elevate the organization's digital maturity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Architecture: Design complex, highly scalable, and fault-tolerant application ecosystems for entire business domains (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance), ensuring seamless interoperability across the enterprise.
  • Define Standards & Patterns: Create, document, and govern reusable Enterprise Integration Patterns. Shift the organization from bespoke development to scalable, repeatable architectures.
  • Lead API Strategy: Architect and lead the future API Management layer. Drive the transition toward a self‑service integration model, enabling distributed teams to build and consume APIs securely and efficiently.
  • Enable Agentic Access: Design advanced API ecosystems and data‑sharing layers specifically optimized for "Agentic" access, allowing AI platforms and autonomous agents to interact securely with core enterprise applications.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex technical challenges. Provide architectural oversight and code governance for enterprise‑wide integration initiatives.
  • Mentorship & Guidance: Act as a technical mentor and guide for senior and junior Azure Integration Developers, elevating the overall technical acumen of the team and ensuring alignment with the architectural vision.
  • Drive Innovation: Continuously evaluate emerging Azure Cloud features, middleware technologies, and automation tools to keep The Coca‑Cola Company at the forefront of digital maturity.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Architecture, or a related field.
  • Extensive Experience: 10+ years of software engineering and systems integration experience, with at least 5+ years serving as a Principal Developer or Enterprise Architect.
  • Cloud Architecture: Master-level expertise in designing global solutions using Azure Cloud technologies. (Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar top‑tier certifications are highly preferred).
  • Integration Stack: Deep, authoritative knowledge of Azure Integration Services, including advanced implementations of Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
  • Experience with JSON, XML, XSLT and other integration‑related technologies.
  • Experience with any integration platform like MuleSoft, Tibco, Boomi is a plus.
  • Knowledge with SAP and its integration mechanisms is a plus.
  • Domain Expertise: Proven track record of architecting integration landscapes for massive enterprise domains (ERP integrations, global Supply Chain platforms, Financial data lakes).
  • API & AI Synergy: Extensive experience designing comprehensive API Developer Portals and building integration layers capable of supporting modern AI and Agentic system interactions.
  • Technical Translation: Exceptional ability to translate complex architectural concepts into clear business value for executive leadership and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Servant Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and mentor cross‑functional and globally distributed engineering teams without relying on direct HR reporting lines.
