Job summary

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for an Integration and Test 3 to support programs within their Connectivity and Network Solutions (CNS) Business Unit (BU). This position will serve on-site at San Diego, CA.

Shift Time: 8am-5pm; 9/80 A Schedule

Responsibilities:

• Maintain processes and procedures for the assembly and test of spacecraft, aircraft and/or related equipment.
• Coordinate integration activities with supervisors, program engineers and various customer organizations.
• Document and disposition hardware discrepancies and pursuing root cause and corrective actions.
• Design and developing tooling to aid in the integration and test process.
• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset.
• Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment.
• Ability and willingness to work independently with little oversight or direction.
• Advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Clearance with additional customer specified clearance prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications for Integration and Test 3 /Basic qualifications plus:

• Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation.
• Experience performing Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing
• Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices.
• Working knowledge of the following specialty areas: EOIR systems, sensors, optics.
• Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) concepts and tools. (Cameo)
• Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
• Ability and willingness to travel.

Basic Qualifications for Integration and Test 3:

• 5 Years with bachelor's in science or
• 3 Years with master's or
• 1 Year with PhD
