Job summary

Office of the Secretary of Defense seeks a Security Specialist (Integrated Vetting) to join the DoD’s DCIPS-excepted service. The role is located in the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security and involves serving as a subject matter expert on vetting programs within the DoD.

Responsibilities include leading initiatives such as Trusted Workforce 2.0, CE and CV, and coordinating with physical, industrial, and information security teams.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a subject matter expert and advisor on the Department of War (DoW) personnel vetting programs.
• Leads the implementation of key security initiatives, including the revised Federal Investigative Standards (Trusted Workforce 2.0) and the CE/CV programs.
• Represents the OUSW(I&S) in interagency forums, committees, and working groups to formulate, coordinate, and align national security policy and procedures.
• Coordinates with colleagues in physical, industrial, and information security to ensure cross-functional integration of key security policies.
