Job summary

ISHPI is seeking an Integrated Systems Technician III (on-site) to support the C2AIS for the U.S. Coast Guard C5ISC in Portsmouth, VA.

The role will manage the supported systems and provide services across system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, test engineering, electronic engineering, and technical writing. The position requires installing, testing, verification, repair, diagnostic analysis, and calibration of varied systems, with troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Preferred Baccalaureate Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or Information Technology.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the field of C4IT/Systems Engineering.
• Active DoD government security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provides and supports installation, testing, verification, repair, diagnostic analysis, and calibration of various systems.
• Provides organizational, intermediate, and depot level troubleshooting and support of fielded systems.
• Provides training to Government personnel and junior technicians.
• May provide technical support in the form of read system drawings, blueprints, bills of materials, and technical manuals.
• Interfaces with Government personnel, subcontractors, or other vendor personnel to arrange diagnostics, repairs, and order and manage parts.
• Assists Government personnel in conferences, meetings, or other problem solving situations.

Job description

ISHPI is seeking a Integrated Systems Technician III (on-site) to support the Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2AIS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, VA. This role will manage the supported systems of the C5ISC and provides services to include system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, test engineering, electronic engineering, and technical writing.

Provides and supports installation, testing, verification, repair, diagnostic analysis, and calibration of various systems. Provides organizational, intermediate, and depot level troubleshooting and support of fielded systems. Provides training to Government personnel and junior technicians. May provide technical support in the form of read system drawings, blueprints, bills of materials, and technical manuals. Conducts performance measurement activities and reports findings to Government representatives. Provides oral, written, on-site, or other troubleshooting assistance. Assists in preparing, reviewing, and managing technical documentation, instructions, procedures, and staging lists. Interfaces and coordinates with Government personnel, subcontractors, or other vendor personnel to arrange diagnostics, repairs, and order and manage parts. May provide supply level support by documenting and communicating results to Government representatives. Assists Government personnel in conferences, meetings, or other problem solving situations.

Education and Experience

Preferred Baccalaureate Degree in the field of Electronics Engineering Technology or Information Technology and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the field of C4IT/Systems Engineering.

Security Clearance

Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance.

Pay Rate

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $76,000. Please note that any salary information disclosed is a general guideline only.
