Candidates must hold a California Single Subject teaching credential and EL authorization, with a background in targeting achievement gaps and supporting diverse learners. The role requires collaboration with site leads, data-informed instruction, and a commitment to a culture of high expectations, equity, and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• California Single Subject teaching credential in the applicable subject.
• Authorization to teach English Learners (EL or SDAIE).
• Criminal background clearance required.
• Experience working in urban school settings or similar is desirable.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute instruction aligned to Common Core standards.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners.
• Assess and track student progress with data-driven approaches.
• Foster a positive, equitable classroom culture and high expectations.
• Collaborate with staff to support campus-wide initiatives.
• Lead and participate in school-wide events and stakeholder engagement.
