Job summary

AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited is seeking an Integrated Project Planner to support major programmes and growth projects for Secure Communications UK. You will develop top and IPT schedules, analyse costs, manage milestones and risks, and prepare management information for monthly reviews.

You will work within a flexible, hybrid UK environment, with opportunities for international collaboration and professional development. This role emphasizes governance, reporting and strong PM discipline.

Qualifications

• Experienced in project management with scheduling, Earned Value and Risk Management.
• Knowledge of planning best practice: logic linking/dependencies, resource scheduling, schedule health checks, WBS, critical path.
• Planning to stage boundaries – contingency planning.
• Knowledge/understanding of PM methodologies.
• Proficient use of MS Project Professional & Primavera P6 Professional.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and timely deliver top level and IPT schedules.
• Analyse project costs vs forward load with resource tracking for PM.
• Track payment milestones.
• Conduct risk analysis tracking.
• Manage change control including waivers and deviations.
• Support consolidation and timely management data reporting.
• Provide consolidated monthly/quarterly reports to senior management.
• Create and maintain standardised templates for schedules and reporting.
• Provide project administration support to PM and team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Project Planner to support the major programmes and growth projects delivering new strategic work and services within Secure Communications (SC) UK.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Creation, maintenance and timely delivery of the top level and lower level schedules, and Integrated Project Team (IPT) schedules
• Analysing project costs versus project forward load in conjunction with resource tracking / management on behalf of the Project Manager
• Payment Milestone tracking
• Risk analysis tracking
• Change Control (incl. waivers and deviations)
• Support management consolidation, judgement, recommendations and the timely provision of all necessary management data and reporting information
• Provide consolidated project reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to senior management including special focus reports as required
• Create and maintain standardised templates for schedules and project reporting
• Project administration support to the Project Manager and the project team

ABOUT YOU

• Experienced in working within a Project Management, including scheduling, logic checking, Earned Value and Risk Management
• Knowledge of planning best practice, e.g. logic linking/dependencies, resource scheduling, preforming schedule health checks, critical Path Analysis, and work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Planning to stage boundaries – contingency planning
• Knowledge/understanding of Project Management methodologies
• Proficient use of both MS Project Professional & Primavera P6 Professional
