Position: Integrated Product Support Engineer

Length: 12 months

Job Description: The role focuses on providing Integrated Product Support (IPS) for complex defense systems throughout their entire life cycle. The engineer will ensure that maintenance, sustainment, and logistics strategies are developed and executed in line with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and standards, supporting system reliability and readiness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The position involves planning and managing all 12 Integrated Product Support elements — from maintenance and supply chain planning to training, technical data, and computer resources. The Engineer will develop and maintain sustainment documentation, perform logistics and supportability analyses, participate in design and technical reviews, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to align support activities with system configurations and lifecycle goals.

Qualifications: Candidates should hold a technical or engineering degree and have 3–7 years of experience leading IPS or logistics engineering within DoD programs. They must understand DoD acquisition processes, sustainment planning standards, and have strong analytical and communication skills. Preferred candidates bring advanced degrees, professional certifications, active security clearance, and familiarity with model-based or digital product support tools.
