Job summary

HealthRIGHT 360 is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) at the San Mateo MAT Clinic to deliver high-quality primary care and substance use disorder treatment within an integrated care model. The role includes clinical oversight of providers and supporting staff to grow the practice.

The position emphasizes collaboration with mental health teams to improve patient outcomes, on-call after-hours rotation, and ongoing licensure and professional education in California.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school.
• Board Certified Licensure as a physician in the State of California.
• Minimum 2-3 years of practice in community health center or relevant practice/experience.
• Experience managing patients with opioid dependency, co-occurring disorders, homelessness, and/or HIV/AIDS management.
• Eligible to participate in CMS Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical care to HR360 patients within an integrated delivery model, documenting care and following CA licensing rules.
• Supervises Advanced Practice Providers, support staff, nurses, medical assistants, and interns/students; enters into collaborative agreements and participates in performance appraisals.
• Meets quality indicators per annual quality improvement plan and leads change in improvement activities.
• Oversees organizational duties, attends trainings, represents HealthRIGHT 360 at events, and completes mandatory trainings annually.
