Job summary
Daybreak Foods in Iowa seeks an individual to oversee and implement an integrated pest management program across its facilities. You will walk pits and cage rows weekly to estimate pest populations, operate spraying equipment, and maintain all pest control tools and schedules.
The role requires High School/GED, plus pesticide applicator certification (Category 7A) and technical training. You will monitor pest activity, perform routine maintenance, and adapt procedures to changing conditions
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical Training preferred; pass Pesticide Applicators/Handler exam.
- Certified in Category 7A General and Household Pest Management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee pest management program implementation.
- Walk pits and cage rows weekly to estimate pest populations.
- Operate spraying equipment to apply pesticides to buildings and grounds.
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly pesticide application schedules.
- Monitor pest populations across the complex.
- Maintain all spraying and other pest control equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
