Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Integrated Master Scheduler for development programs. You will create IMS across product development, coordinate schedules with program managers, engineering, and external customers to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires DoD scheduling experience, familiarity with Earned Value Management, and competence with MS Project and Deltek Open Plan. U.S. citizenship is required because of contract obligations for this ITAR facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of scheduling experience, DoD preferred.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) required.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Deltek Open Plan.
• Familiar with DI-MGMT-81861 and DCMA 14-point practices.

Responsibilities

• Create Integrated Master Schedules for all product development programs.
• Coordinate, lead, integrate and maintain schedules for complex programs and proposals.
• Ensure integration of plans, schedules, and baseline management using best practices.
• Maintain and brief all IMS schedules to leadership and customers.
• Interface with program managers, engineering and external customers.
• Create summary IMS and support EVM integration and rollup.
• Apply Agile methodologies to software development within the IMS.
• Provide schedule risk analysis and mitigation recommendations.
• Assist management in meeting IMS and contractual reporting requirements.

Position Title: Integrated Master Scheduler - Development Programs

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for creating Integrated Master Schedules for all SCI Product Development programs
• Coordinates, leads, develops, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex proposals, projects, programs and change driven activities
• Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plans, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, and techniques considered to be best practice across the industry
• Responsible for the maintenance, coordination, and briefing of all associated schedules
• Must interface with a multi-discipline team including program managers, engineering, and external customers
• Create Summary Schedules that communicate and summarize the detailed IMS.
• Knowledgeable of product-oriented Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and able to advise program managers on how to best structure their WBS and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to facilitate EVM integration and rollup
• Use Agile Methodology to plan out software development activities and integrate into the IMS
• Is a Subject Matter Expert in the fields of Program Planning & Scheduling, the use of scheduling tools like MS Project and Deltek Open Plan
• Provide schedule analysis and highlight potential schedule risks that may affect the program
• Assist management in performing and meeting program and contractual requirements related to the IMS and associated reporting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years experience required
• DoD scheduling experience required
• Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis
• Experience using Deltek Open Plan
• Experience using Microsoft Project
• Experience implanting schedules adhering to DI-MGMT-81861 and DCMA 14 point best practices
