Job description

Integrated Marketing & Campaign Lead

Reports to: Director of Brand
Location: Dripping Springs, TX (in-person)
Employment type: Full-time

About Heart & Soil

Heart & Soil helps people reclaim their birthright to radical health through nutrient-dense organ supplements and practical education that builds the confidence to take charge of their health. We expect both commitment to our mission and a strong drive to perform. People who thrive here welcome ambitious goals, seek candid feedback, and take ownership of measurable results. We support them with clear priorities, coaching, and high standards—and expect honest assessment and timely action when performance falls short.

The Opportunity

Own integrated campaign delivery—from approved brief through launch, sustained activation, and review. Ensure committed work goes live across agreed channels, on schedule and to approved standards, and drive corrective action when execution falls short.

Our campaigns connect Brand, Growth, Ecommerce, email/SMS, Creative, Content, Partnerships, Events, Community, and other customer touchpoints. You turn their commitments into one executable plan. This is a hands-on marketing role, not a status-tracking role or a manager of every channel. It initially has no direct reports.

What You Will Own
Master calendar and advance planning
  • Own the integrated master campaign calendar; functional owners retain their detailed channel calendars.

  • Drive a directional annual calendar before the year, a committed quarterly portfolio before the quarter, and detailed monthly execution plans before the month.

  • Establish deadlines for Brand and Growth decisions, product feasibility, inventory inputs, capacity, and production commitments.

  • Begin BFCM strategy and building in Q2 or early Q3 through staged decisions. Escalate missing inputs before they compromise execution.

  • Surface calendar collisions and capacity constraints, recommend tradeoffs, and preserve the agreed baseline alongside approved changes.

Complete briefs and workback plans
  • Own the completeness, coherence, and approval process of the integrated campaign brief.

  • Secure audience, narrative, offer, channel roles, success measures, resources, and constraints from the accountable leaders; challenge contradictions or missing thinking.

  • Translate approved direction into deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and decision dates, with one owner for each commitment.

  • Return incomplete briefs or uncommitted plans before committed execution.

Cross-functional delivery and sustained activation
  • Secure and track accepted commitments across internal teams and outside partners.

  • Verify that sends, placements, creator activations, community participation, and follow-up content actually go live throughout the campaign.

  • Bring owners together when delivery falls behind, secure recovery actions, and track approved adjustments through completion.

  • Keep participating teams working from the same current plan without taking over their specialist decisions.

Launch readiness
  • Run the campaign-readiness process and obtain evidence from functional owners.

  • Operations confirms inventory and fulfillment readiness; Ecommerce accepts digital releases; channel and analytics owners validate tracking; Research/Compliance approves claims.

  • Name one final launch decision owner in each major campaign brief. Recommend go, delay, or reduced scope with unresolved risks explicit.

  • Escalate scope, capacity, quality, and decision conflicts early rather than letting them become launch-day surprises.

Operating cadence and learning
  • Lead focused planning, readiness, and review meetings that produce decisions and commitments.

  • Maintain useful briefs, plans, decision logs, and a campaign learning archive.

  • Secure a measurement plan and reporting owners before launch. Interpret results with Growth and channel owners.

  • Turn reviews into assigned improvements and verify that subsequent execution improves—not merely that the retrospective happened.

How Ownership Works

Four roles connect the marketing and commerce work:

  • Head of Growth → CEO: commercial plan, investment, offers, and results.

  • Director of Brand → CEO: Brand strategy, audience direction, narrative, and quality.

  • Director, Ecommerce → Head of Growth: Shopify AOV, conversion rate, revenue per session, and digital execution.

  • Integrated Marketing & Campaign Lead → Director of Brand: planning integration, master calendar, campaign commitments, readiness, and sustained activation.

Brand and Growth jointly develop the campaign portfolio. They own timely strategic and commercial decisions; you own planning deadlines, integration, and escalation. You do not own the commercial forecast.

Our COO leads the company's operating cadence and resolves cross-functional priority conflicts. You have authority to require owners, commitments, readiness evidence, and recovery plans—not to override functional strategy, budgets, or specialist approvals.

Partnerships sits within Brand and owns creator relationships and activation, including usable-asset and influencer-affiliate commitments to Growth. Events remains within Brand; you coordinate relevant commitments without managing Events. Functional leaders retain their channel delivery, quality, and results.

How Performance is Measured
  • Complete, on-time campaign delivery: committed scope launches on the agreed date and meets readiness standards.

  • Sustained activation: participating channels deliver their commitments throughout the campaign.

  • Planning readiness: annual, quarterly, and monthly plans contain the necessary decisions, owners, capacity, and commitments before the period begins.

  • Fewer integration failures: preventable missing handoffs, conflicting offers, and omitted activations decline.

Review misses and recovery weekly. Preserve original commitments alongside approved changes; moving a deadline cannot conceal a miss. Numerical targets will use actual baselines. Growth retains commercial-result ownership; you are accountable for execution integration and timely escalation.

What You Bring
  • Approximately six to nine years in integrated marketing, campaign leadership, marketing operations, or comparable work.

  • Experience owning multichannel campaigns in a consumer, DTC, CPG, or similarly complex business.

  • Strong understanding of Brand and performance marketing, with the judgment to challenge a weak plan.

  • Clear writing, briefing, meeting leadership, and dependency management.

  • Evidence of securing commitments across teams without direct management authority and resolving problems through launch and beyond.

How You Use Technology and AI

Use AI and automation to draft from approved inputs, build workbacks, identify missing dependencies, and maintain decisions and learning. Verify information; a generated plan is not a substitute for real commitments.

This Role May Not be Right for You if
  • You prefer reporting status to personally building plans, challenging gaps, and driving recovery.

  • You avoid difficult conversations about readiness or missed commitments.

  • You need a large team or direct authority over every channel to make progress.

  • You want to own Brand or commercial strategy instead of making the integrated campaign executable.

What you'll get

Meaningful ownership, clear priorities, candid feedback, and coaching within a mission-driven, performance-minded team.

Compensation, benefits, and any travel requirements will be confirmed through the hiring process. Heart & Soil is committed to building a strong team and a respectful workplace. Final employment terms, eligibility requirements, and benefit details will be provided through the formal hiring process.
