You will monitor plant and supplier capacities, short and long-term sales and inventory forecasts, and implement continuous lean improvement methodologies. This position requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional communication, with the ability to proactively identify planning gaps and solve problems to drive operational excellence.

  • Demonstrated ability to tactfully challenge the status quo
  • Solid conceptual and analytical thinking and proven ability to solve complex tasks with high ambiguity, under time pressure
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization
  • Highly organized with the ability to deliver results through others
What will your typical day look like?
  • Develop, lead, and execute business SIOP/PSI strategy to improve customer value and drive revenue/margin growth
  • Partner with commercial, finance, operations, and engineering teams to drive the planning process, ensure gaps and overlaps are addressed, and align scenario plans
  • Responsible for demand planning with all required components to meet commercial demand, and balance demand with plant/supplier capacities
  • Forecast short- and long-term sales and inventory levels based on customer orders, material input, capacity constraints, and COGS across product lines
  • Drive Lean culture and continuous improvement to develop and grow assigned personnel
What about the physical demands of the job?
  • Regularly required to talk and hear
  • Regularly required to walk and/or stand throughout the day
  • Typically works in a temperature-controlled office environment with infrequent exposure to production floor conditions
