Job summary

Quail Run Behavioral Health in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (Intake) to join the treatment team. You will provide continuous patient care, supervision, and role modeling across units serving adolescents to geriatrics, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities include accurately checking in patients, entering demographic and clinical data into the EMR, recording vital signs, and monitoring patient locations per policy to support timely admissions and ongoing

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
1 year of experience in psychiatric setting.
Handle With Care and BLS for Providers required; Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 30 days.

Responsibilities

Accurately check in patients upon arrival and enter required demographic and clinical information into the EMR to initiate admissions efficiently.
Take and record vital signs promptly and ensure patient safety through continuous supervision.
Monitor patient locations per the Observation Policy and document changes in appearance, behavior, or progress toward treatment goals.
