North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is seeking an Intake Associate – Clinical (SP) to gather initial information for eligibility and assist families with intake applications. The role involves handling urgent records, coordinating with multiple agencies, and updating demographic data in internal systems.
You will answer calls, respond to emails, and help determine services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Receives general supervision from assigned Intake Supervisor.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Any combination equivalent to or likely to provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. An Associates degree in a human/social services is required and two years of related experience.
Excellent customer service on the telephone and/or in person. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Accurate and rapid typing for input of data. Attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, respond to multiple tasks, requests, and processes and meet timelines. Review and present information obtained in a concise manner. Utilize ear/microphone piece and enter initial data in the computer.
Developmental or related disabilities, social service provision, basic community resources, use of word processing, internet, and data entry. Position requires bilingual: Spanish.

This position is non-exempt. Regular Salary: $22.73 - $32.12 per hour, plus $69.24 per bi-weekly pay period for bilingual services.
Starting salary is typically between the $22.73 and $25.09 of the range, depending on internal equity and experience.
