Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in Independence, MO is actively hiring an Admissions and Intake Clinician to join our Intake and Admissions team. This role focuses on guiding individuals and families to timely behavioral healthcare through thorough clinical assessments and admissions decisions.

You may assist with unit support and leading groups as needed, while coordinating information with physicians and staff and taking vital signs to ensure safety and appropriate levels of care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in the area of Independence, MO is actively hiring an Admissions and Intake Clinician. We are seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled Clinician to join our Intake and Admissions team. This role is critical in helping individuals and families access timely behavioral healthcare services while ensuring high-quality clincial assessment and admissions decisions. There also might be times that you will be helping out with the units and leading groups.

The name Three Trails was selected to honor the historical significance of the city of Independence as the starting point for the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails. The logo icon is a compass, which is symbolic of wayfinding, and metaphorically the personal journey to recovery.

The Groundbreaking for the new hospital was held in January 2025. Beam topping was held in July 2025. The facility is expected to open in the second half of 2026.

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments
