The ideal candidate will have a strong background in annuity or insurance claims operations combined with experience supporting compliance, audit, regulatory, or tax-related activities. This role is responsible for supporting audits, market conduct exams, regulatory requests, and corrective action initiatives while ensuring processes remain compliant with insurance regulations and internal controls. The individual will also own a quarterly tax reporting process, making knowledge of tax reporting, tax withholding, or other regulated financial processes highly desirable. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to analyze and improve processes, lead projects independently, and partner effectively with business stakeholders to drive compliance and operational efficiency.
This is a hybrid position requiring three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids or Denver). Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
The salary for this position generally ranges between $61,000 - $72,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 7.5% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
