RadNet is seeking an Insurance Verification Representative to join our team in New York. You will verify patient eligibility with insurance companies, obtain prior authorizations, and collaborate with providers and staff to gather necessary medical history and notes.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and timely data entry in the RIS system. A high school diploma or GED and strong communication skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Obtain information on the patient’s eligibility status with insurance companies to ensure proper coverage and payment for services.
• Work closely with insurance providers and referring physicians’ staff to obtain necessary patient history and notes to expedite processing.
• Properly analyze various payor eligibility responses to find the information needed to complete verifications.
• Obtain and confirm insurance pre-authorizations and contact insurance providers via email or phone to review status of authorizations.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the RIS system for each patient, according to established standards.

You Will:

• Obtain information on the patient’s eligibility status with insurance companies to ensure proper coverage and payment for services

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
