Responsibilities include evaluating risk against business classes, assessing catastrophe loss potential, and preparing quotations for agents. The position supports a hybrid work schedule with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have Producer’s License.
• 3+ years of insurance experience.
• Exposure to underwriting activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review applications for insurance coverage to determine acceptability.
• Evaluate risk experience against the class of business under review.
• Assess loss potential from catastrophe, severity, and frequency.
• Rate policies or verify prior ratings for accuracy.
• Use automated systems to develop information for new or renewal policies.
• Prepare quotations for agents and answer questions from agents, policyholders, or prospects.
• Assist agents with comments about applications and likelihood of acceptance.
• Review requests for cancellations and endorsements.
• Review policies for renewal consideration.
• Request additional documentation for processing applications or endorsements.
• Conduct marketing visits to agents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
