Job summary

EY is seeking a senior consultant to lead technology-enabled transformation for insurance clients. You will translate business needs into architecture and implementation plans, guiding engagements across policy and billing systems, data management, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business or a related field and 5+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience defining business and technical requirements
• 3+ years of relevant experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to property and casualty insurance carriers on personal or commercial lines of businesses
• 2+ years of experience managing and supervising a team of business analysts and technology analysts through all phases of the technology life cycle
• Experience with Guidewire, OneShield, Exigen/EIS, Majesco, Duck Creek, Insurity, Sapiens/Adaptik, FirstBest, Business Objects, Cognos, Informatica
• Proficiency in one or more of the following competencies: System and vendor selection and implementation; Definition of business and technical requirements; Design of business and technology architecture; Business intelligence/decision support; PMO
• Strong experience in either an internal or external BA role, with gathering and interpreting requirements and developing technical requirements
• Experience with Agile SCRUM methodologies, BA methodologies and documentation standards
• Knowledge of software engineering methodologies, data flows, testing strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical writing and client presentations
• Ability to form relationships with stakeholders and envision the future state
• Strategic thinking and research on client inquiries and industry regulations
• Travel to client sites as necessary

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with architects to design solutions
• Assist engagement teams with technology architecture, vendor selection and implementation planning
• Support remediation and mitigation of process risk and improve client business units' effectiveness and efficiency
• Provide insights from multiple data sources to verify solution alignment with business needs and identify opportunities
