PwC in Hartford is seeking an Insurance Tax Manager to guide clients through tax planning, compliance, and strategy within our Tax practice. You will lead teams, manage client accounts, mentor junior staff, and drive value through innovative tax solutions in a dynamic professional environment.

You will review financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and develop corporate tax strategies to optimize client positions while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• CPA, Bar or other tax/finance credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Leading tax compliance workstreams and managing client expectations effectively.
• Guiding teams in the preparation and filing of tax returns for insurance sector clients.
• Utilizing analytical skills to review and analyze financial data for tax compliance.
• Developing and implementing corporate tax planning strategies to optimize client tax positions.
• Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify opportunities for tax savings.
• Drafting and reviewing tax documents to support regulatory compliance and submissions.

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients to address tax-related inquiries and issues.
• Embracing technology and innovation to improve tax compliance processes and deliverables.
• Confirming adherence to professional and technical standards in all tax-related activities.
