Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent
• Two or more years related work experience
• Computer Science, Accounting or Auditing experience
• Insurance industry experience

Responsibilities

• Gathers data, analyzes requirements and documents specifications for new system processes and enhancements
• Identifies and researches system problems for root cause; analyzes and provides sound business solutions
• Work closely with customers, business managers and application programmers to define future system needs
• Builds thorough test plans and conducts system tests to verify accuracy; identifies and resolves problems
• Reviews and analyzes user requests for business system enhancements; determines impact on workflow, reporting and programming requirements
• Acts as resource to provide guidance to system users and/or application programmers
• Trains users in proper utilization of business systems, including written procedures
• Acts as liaison between external customers, system users and IT staff
• Works directly with application programmers to define steps to develop/modify programs
• Complies with data standards and integrity
• Other duties as assigned
