Role: Licensed Insurance Sales Representative to support Kin’s Independent brokerage division, focusing on our Agency division and connecting clients with A-rated carriers.

Responsibilities
  • Connect with customers via calling, email, and text to understand insurance needs and present suitable solutions.
  • Explain the features and benefits of various insurance products and address inquiries.
  • Work primarily with leads provided by the company to maximize sales potential and conversion rate.
  • Follow up with prospects to stay in contact and drive toward the sale.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets using persuasive techniques and by seeking new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities in the CRM.
  • Build custom policies using internal tools and systems; educate customers on home insurance details.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to effectively position the Agency division.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of insurance sales experience in a fast-paced brokerage setting.
  • Experience selling with multiple carriers in multiple states (home, auto, umbrella, jewelry).
  • Active Property & Casualty license.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and processes; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities; self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and related tools; call/contact center experience (brokerage experience preferred).
Bonus Points
  • Bilingual ability (Spanish preferred).
  • Experience with Citizens Property Insurance.
Shift Requirements
  • Must be available to work 9am-6pm CST, Monday-Friday.
  • No weekend requirements.
  • All shifts are 8 hours plus a 30 minute lunch break.

We are currently hiring for our November 3, 2025 Sales class.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: On-target earnings (OTE) start at $65,000, with uncapped earnings and performance-based incentives. Base salary is $41,600. Eligible for Sales Incentive Plan. This role includes equity and additional benefits.

  • Ramping compensation plan during the first three months of sales production; commission earnings begin from the first policy sold.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, Employee Assistance Program, voluntary benefits (accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness, legal, pet insurance).
  • 401K with company match up to 4%.
  • 16 days PTO per year plus 10 paid holidays (8 company holidays + 2 floating).
  • Paid parental leave: 14 weeks for birthing parents, 8 weeks for non-birthing parents.
  • Continuing education and professional development opportunities.

This role is eligible to earn additional compensation through participation in our Sales Incentive Program.
