Job summary

The Juris Agency in Houston, TX is seeking an Insurance Sales Representative to drive growth through new business development, client service, and retention initiatives. Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• Life, Accident & Health license preferred.
• Experience in personal lines, life, or commercial insurance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hold an active Property & Casualty license; Life, Accident & Health license preferred.
• Solicit and write new business within the assigned specialty (Personal Lines, Life, or Commercial).
• Work closely with the agent and/or operations manager to recommend appropriate coverage.
• Conduct field underwriting and rating for new accounts.
• Stay informed about new products, programs, and company initiatives.
• Actively solicit expiration dates from new clients and prospects.
• Follow up on open quotes to convert prospects into clients.
• Meet production goals set by the agent or District Manager.
• Maintain accurate monthly sales records and provide reports as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
