Job summary

Alfa Insurance is seeking Customer Service/Sales Representatives who take pride in representing the company, selling insurance products, and delivering exceptional service to our existing customers. Many Alfa agents are independent contractors; staff for independent contractor agents will be employees of the agent, not Alfa Insurance.

The role involves prospecting new business, quoting and binding policies, handling inquiries, processing changes, and supporting the agent and service center

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to attain Insurance Producer license within 90 days of hire.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have an aptitude for learning new programs and procedures.
Team player with a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

Prospect for new multi-line insurance business, quote and bind policies, handle customer inquiries, document requests and process changes, and accept and process premiums.
Provide strong multi-platform customer service and conflict resolution, adapting to a fast-paced environment.
Support the agent and service center staff as needed.
