Ross & Yerger Insurance, Inc. invites a Sales Intern to begin a career in insurance with strong upward mobility. The program runs for eight weeks in Jackson, MS, with the goal of offering a full-time Associate Producer role after graduation and eventual eligibility for ownership.

You'll support lead generation, client proposals, market research, and training, while developing CRM discipline and relationship skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a rising senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, risk management, marketing, finance, or related field.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Strong analytical and proactive attitude with an interest in insurance sales.

Responsabilités

• Lead Generation: research and identify prospective clients to support the sales pipeline.
• Producer Support: assist with client proposals, presentations, and account management.
• Market Research: analyze industry trends and competitor activity.
• Training & Development: participate in structured training to build product knowledge and selling skills.
• Administrative Assistance: manage CRM data and policy documents; ensure follow-up.
