Qualifications

• Sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Active Illinois Property & Casualty license preferred; ability to obtain within a few months.
• Strong communication and listening skills; able to explain options clearly.
• Excellent organization and follow-through in a fast-paced office.
• Coachability and willingness to learn and apply training.

Responsibilities

• Work company-provided leads: make outbound calls to prospective customers and maintain a sales pipeline.
• Understand customer needs: ask questions about coverage priorities and budgets.
• Recommend appropriate coverage: explain policy options, benefits, and limitations.
• Follow up and close sales: address questions/objections and close when suitable.
• Maintain accurate records: document conversations, quotes, and next steps in CRM.
• Build lasting relationships: provide responsive service and identify opportunities for additional coverage.
• Meet sales expectations: reach activity and sales targets while maintaining service quality.
• Follow compliance standards: adhere to agency procedures and insurance regulations.
• Develop skills: participate in training and coaching and apply feedback.
