ALPA Insurance, a growing Texas insurance provider, seeks a motivated Insurance Sales Agent for an in-office role in Killeen. You will assist customers with policies, renewals, and payments while building a local client base.

The role emphasizes a strong sales mindset, customer focus, and ability to work independently with in-house training and licensing support. A bilingual candidate is a plus.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
• Texas license in Limited Lines or Property & Casualty is highly preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and good written/verbal skills.
• Ability to learn company software quickly and work independently.
• Continued education courses paid by ALPA to maintain license status.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers with new policies, edits, renewals, and payments.
• Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk and eligibility.
• Develop clientele through networking and marketing with the office manager.
• Handle policy renewals and coordinate with underwriting.
• Perform daily housekeeping and office tasks as needed.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong sales mentality, desire to succeed, and good organizational/interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus. This is an IN-OFFICE position.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various types of insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering all questions.
• Inspect vehicles, examining general condition, age, and other characteristics, to decide if it is an acceptable insurance risk.
• Seek out new clients, generate lists of prospective clients, and develop clientele by networking and marketing. You and your office manager will develop marketing strategies to attract new customers.
• Perform administrative tasks, as well as handling policy renewals and contacting underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required)
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing
• Basic Computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision and quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software.
• Complete continuing education courses (Paid for by ALPA) as required to maintain active license status with TDI.
