The Auto Club Group (ACG) in Charlotte, NC is hiring for a full-time relationship-driven sales role. You will sell and service AAA-branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial services while building trusted client relationships.

Ideal candidates bring a customer-first mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to generate new business through community networking and referrals. Base pay plus incentives, ramp-up support, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
• Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products
• Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit

Responsibilities

• Sales, Retention & Revenue Growth: Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG-branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high-traffic ACG branch; uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, grow ACG’s insurance portfolio, overcome objections, negotiate effectively, close sales, and meet or exceed individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations.
• Insurance Reviews & Policy Execution: Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, recommend appropriate solutions, and quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients, respond to inquiries with professionalism and urgency, and support high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
• Prospecting, Community Engagement & Referrals: Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, develop new business opportunities, and identify cross-sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services to maximize overall member value

Required Qualifications

Work Environment

• Work in a temperature-controlled AAA branch location
• Ability to work varied hours, including possible weekends

Compensation & Benefits Overview

• Base pay (non-exempt)
• Typical Starting Earnings $65,000+ (First-year, based on performance)
• Additional Compensation Ramp-up support $5,000 (processed 30 and 60 days of employment)
• Supplemental Pay for six months: $200/week during months 0–2, $150/week during months 3–4, and $100/week during months 5–6
• Performance Incentives Elevated commission structure during the first 15 months
• New Hire On‑Pace Bonus tied to milestones
