The State of Vermont is seeking a Rate and Form Analyst to review property and casualty rate and form filings. This role suits detail-oriented professionals with knowledge of property and casualty coverages.

You will work mostly independently, with opportunities to collaborate with a larger team to discuss regulatory questions and policy issues. You will manage a high filing load, meet statutory deadlines, and clearly communicate compliance matters to filers and companies.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years or more at or above a technical level involving insurance policy form analysis; rate analysis; actuarial analysis; or comparable experience.
• Strong knowledge of property and casualty coverages and regulatory processes.
• Ability to meet statutory deadlines and clearly communicate compliance issues.

Responsabilités

• Review property and casualty rate and form filings independently and with a team when needed.
• Explain compliance concerns to third party filers and companies.
• Collaborate with a larger team to discuss policy questions as they arise.
