Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, is expanding its Product Development team in Oregon. The Product Development Specialist (Compliance) will develop new products and amend policy wordings, liaising with the Compliance team during the filing process, reporting to the Product Development Supervisor.

You’ll work with Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims and IT to move initiatives from concept through filing and implementation, while staying ahead of regulatory changes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university.
• Insurance designations (CPCU, ASLI, AU) are a plus.
• Experience drafting policy wordings and DOI filings.
• Strong regulatory, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and updating coverage forms, endorsements, and rate/rule pages
• Preparing clear memos for DOI submissions
• Researching competitor filings for market positioning
• Monitoring regulatory changes and updating forms accordingly
• Collaborating with Underwriting and Actuarial on project intent
• Coordinating with Claims to refine form language
• Supporting State Filings for DOI submissions
• Responding to DOI objections and coordinating updates
• Reviewing system requirements with IT for filing alignment
