Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking an Insurance Policy Administration AI Expert to transform core insurance operations through intelligent automation and data-driven insights, focusing on issuance, endorsements, and renewals while upholding compliance.

You will design AI-driven solutions, translate policy rules into scalable models, and collaborate with underwriting, operations, and compliance to automate workflows with high accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 2–7 years of experience in insurance operations, policy administration, or AI/ML in insurance.
• Strong understanding of policy lifecycle processes: issuance, endorsements, renewals.
• Deep knowledge of insurance coverage structures, policy language, and risk interpretation.
• Experience with NLP, classification models, and rule-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions to streamline policy administration processes (issuance, endorsements, renewals).
• Analyze and translate policy coverage into scalable AI/ML models and decision frameworks.
• Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and compliance to automate policy workflows with high accuracy and auditability.
• Build document processing, policy validation, and exception handling using NLP and rule engines.
• Enhance renewal strategies through data-driven insights and risk profiling.
• Ensure AI systems meet regulatory requirements across jurisdictions and integrate compliance checks.
• Monitor model performance, accuracy, and bias; improve systems based on feedback.
