ITAC Solutions represents a client seeking a sharp, detail-driven paralegal to support an Insurance Practice Group on complex matters in downtown Birmingham. You will manage deadlines, prepare filings, and collaborate with attorneys, clients, courts, and experts.

The role is 100% onsite with full health benefits and day-one medical coverage. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 based on experience, plus a bonus, and opportunity to work on sophisticated insurance litigation matters.

Qualifications

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Prior litigation experience in a legal environment.
• Familiarity with federal and state court procedures.
• Paralegal Certificate and High School Diploma.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and electronically file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents
• Conduct legal research related to insurance matters
• Review and summarize medical records, depositions, and case materials
• Track case timelines and critical deadlines
• Maintain electronic and physical case files
• Support trial preparation, including exhibits, witnesses, and logistics
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and experts
