State Farm Agent Chase Desormeaux in Lafayette, LA is seeking an Account Representative who is outgoing, customer-focused, and ready to grow the agency through meaningful client relationships and proactive product recommendations.

You will handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and help customers with coverage options, billing, and claims assistance, while developing trust and delivering friendly, prompt service.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales (outside or inside) preferred.
• Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to effectively relate to customers.
• Property & Casualty license.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
