Job summary

gpac is seeking an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join a growing litigation practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. You will handle varied insurance defense matters, including general liability and related claims, with direct client interaction and hands-on litigation exposure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• 2 years at prior employer.
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience taking and defending depositions preferred.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Licensed and in good standing in the applicable state bar(s).

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct depositions, court appearances, mediations, and hearings.
• Work closely with clients, carriers, and senior attorneys on case strategy.
• Manage case files proactively and efficiently.
